How do traded players...

get stuff so quick? When a player gets traded, and goes to a new team the next day (kinda like with Thornton, Sturm, etc) how do they get new equipment so fast?

Does the team have stock already, or do the manufacturers get stuff out to them that fast.

If you look at Thornton, he's got Easton gloves on. I guess they couldn't get CCMs quick enough?

I was wondering the same. Anson Carter was wearing a blue carbster tonight and I thought Mission can't make that helmet anymore so how did he get a blue one?

Not sure it applies to every player...I've seen some guys with their old team gloves for a few games after being traded...it's especially apparent with goalies, I've seen guys with their old masks and pads and stuff...

For the most part, I figure that most pros are on one day turnaround on their gear...

I remember when Leetch got traded to the Leafs, on the pregame show, they were just showing how they actually spray painted his gloves.

maybe he's using the one from NYR but with blue electrical tape over and a sticker of the smiling whale on it. (vintage canucks)

spray paint on the helmet, dan cloutier did that with his helmets, i'm pretty sure anson has a couple of carbseters kicking around. i think brad stuart is still wearing san jose coloured gloves, he had teal lettering on his eagles in the game tonight, and I think thornton has been wearing easton's all season long, and just used the same gloves as i think san jose has black gloves as well

Those are the same gloves Thornton's been using all year. Had them in training camp and all. Blacked out Easton's.
