Tri-flex, opinions? diff between silver and gold..

Hey guys, i tried tri-flex in the search forum but it all brings topic about flex stick...

What is the difference between gold and silver?(grip)?

What are they compared to?

I'm talking about shaft...

To the best of my knowledge the Gold OPS became the Vapor XX. Great stick. Highly under rated.

i thought the gold was the grip. i had the triflex gold ops, it was definitly a grip version of the original red/silver triflex

The gold was a grip. It was the first "stick um". It was not even close to the red/ silver Tri-flex. That stick was a POS. The gold was light, responsive, and well.....the predesesor to the XX.

the gold had a very different shape. Thin handle bulging out in the middle and then tapering down. The XX is/was basically an improved 1100.

so if i did understood well it start from the tri-flex---(to the) 1100---(and finally the best) XX

I always thought tri-flex silver was pretty heavy and a bad OPS(compared to the synergy,response in vector back in the days..)

Do the gold difer from the silver?

I liked the TFG shaft but it was nothing like the 1100 in terms of shape.

The TFS I saw were not the same construction as the TFG. The red/silver models were just plain bad.

i have a tfs shaft

i didnt like it at first, but it grew on me, and now is my favorite shaft of all time

its not heavy, its a 310g shaft at 50", its lighter than the ultralite...
