Sassmasta 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 I've seen it work, but why would you want goalie skates with hi-lo? Wouldnt it feel wierd.
The Webster 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 You would need to get a goalie chassis for the skatesI think labeda do one which is pretty good
Aggie 9 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 You can get any size wheel as long as the difference between the two sizes is the same as the original. I'm not familiar with junior sizes, but I started goaltending with my old Nike Roller Daddys. Of course the wheels were 80 and 72 mm, but I switched to 68 and 59 mm. The difference of in wheels changed from 8 mm to 9 mm, which isn't too much. But since then I have used my Tour Blue Max as a goalie skate and switched to all 59 mm wheels. I think having a flat frame for goalie makes a huge difference compared to Hi-Lo. My balance is so much better.
