I'd pay quite the premium to slap some black Pitch holders onto my skates. Nothing on my skates match my holders. Not a single thing on Vector Pro's are white beside the laces...

Duckjob,

I see your skates in your avatar, the S500's with Hum'ers. How are they doing? My kid is wanting to switch his S500's to roller right after ice. Let me know how you like them and what made you do it that way as opposed to buying pure Inline Hockey skates.

They are doing great. I had a pair on labeda sensors for a little over a year that aside from some burn marks on the outer material are still in great shape. When tour had their hum'r promo I sent my lesser used s500's that I was using for ice hockey in, and then put the pitch holders back on the skates that were mounted on the sensor.

As far as why I picked them, no skate has ever fit me as good, and no other inline skate has come close to fitting me as well as them, with the Tour Beemer being a possible exception, but I only tried some on, never skated in them. If I would have known what I know now a few years ago, I would have been all over the D-limited's since those were base on the pure fly's which is what the S series is based on.

I was concerned that the fact that the boot isn't nearly as stiff as most inline skates might be an issue, but it hasn't been at all, and I'm a big guy.
