maybe justin can enlighten me here...

I remember that earlier L2s had a similar shaft shape as the M1, and the blades were a bit heavy. Today I held my buddy`s new L2 (he got it free with his skates a few months ago). The shaft was pretty square (like the Inno #5 but wider) and the balance was really really nice. Was the composition of the stick changed recently?
