SALAMANNDER 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 Welland where are u from?monkey shop is from sweden.and have paid any exra money for delivery.as u see, i live in Russia and want to buy skates through internet shop, cause it is cheaper than to buy them in our country. But i'm worried about extra money for delivery. I don't want to pay the same price for skates that i can buy in Russia.
Nick23 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 you will pay the price of the item + shipping (fluctuates depending on shop to shop) + tax and import duties which the shop do not recieve, this is a tax for import put on by your govournment. But after that you have your new epuipment! I don't recommend buying skates online, unless you are 100% sure about what size you need, i know alot of people who have ended up with clown skates, or ones they can't fit their hand in...literally

Sven 1 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 yea i buy most of my stuff online. i live in europe and order from www.epuck.com and hockeymonkeyeu.com, both have great fast delivery. delpiero81 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2005 That's what happened to me (sorry for bad english):On HockeyMonkey US site i had found a stick, price was 70$Then i checked HockeyMonkey EU site, again the stick was at the same price 70$.Called HockeyMonkey EU to know how much shipping would cost (Sweden to Italy)and turned out: stick price changed from 70$ to 150$ (120€) and shipping 50$.So i think that if HM EU dont have an item in stock that is shown on HM US site they have to import from US and they charge you the shipping by adding it to the price, but thats my 2 cents (maybe they didnt put the right price on HM EU).You can call them or email them and ask how much the item you want cost and also about the shipping so no surprise...I've got great deals with www.icewarehouse.com maybe not the best price but they have a program that calculate exact cost for shipping what you want and you can chose also the metod for shipping (like wordmail, fed ex, etc)

Nick23 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 shipping sticks will always cost alot due to the fact it comes under 'oversized items' but most others things should come out cheaper when ordering online.
hurricane 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2005 http://www.hockeymonkey.com/?OVRAW=Hockey&...&OVMTC=standardhttp://www.hockeygiant.com/Check these 2 out. the only issue i have ever had was they could'nt find a pair of pants the web site said they had--free shipping ( overnight) and 20 bucks off the pants--Had them 24 hrs before my game. Hockeymonkey is great and the best prices around.
