holders

I currently skate in tuuk lightspeed holders, and I just cant find a good balance point or get comfortable in them. I'm looking to be more on my toes than heels almost like an inline skate, what holder should i try beside the mission pitch(looks to complicated for me) thanks

CCM holder as well as Graf Cobra holder will put you more on your toes. You might want to reconsider the Pitch holders. THey are easy to use and everyone that I have talked to likes them.

If you have a good skate sharpener in your area, you can have your skates profiled. At the time they profile you can have the pitch increased. For the lightspeeds I have been using 1/32". Basically the blade at the center at ball of foot is 1/32" shorter than heel center. Bout 15/32nd @ BFC & 16/32nd @ HC on new blades. My son, who is ten and playing Peewee A, is on almost a 1/16" pitch. I've played with his and he likes more pitch.

Having the pitch changed might be more reasonable than switching holders????

Change the pitch a couple times and it's going to end up costing more than new holders at most shops.

yeah because the more you change the pitch the shorter that blade gets so the less life of the blade. the pitch holder ive heard is a good solid holder id be interested to try it out since im a product whore and im willing to try anything honestly, another thing is the cobra holder is 1/32nd foward lean already so if you do the cobra and profile it 1/32nd youll be really far forward. Its not so good to be right on yoru toes just because you wont have as much balance and control, if you go to a shorter profile it may help you get that more on your toe feel so if your on a 10 go to a 9 or if your on a 9 go to a 7

Yes your right, but I profile my own skates!

I was refering to the LS & LS2 holder for 1/32'' pitch.
