I did some searching but I couldn't find an answer......

This is for anyone who owns or has skated in the supreme 8090.

I'm thinking of picking up a pair but I need to know what is the drainage like? do they shed sweat at all or just absorb it?

I have Classic Gold's right now and after a game they feel like they've tripled in weight.

If i'm not mistaken they both have the same liner

I had this skate and had no problems with sweat. I wear thin nylon skate socks and the liner is very comfortable and dry. did'nt notice any wetness in the boot.

Same liner as the vapor XXX---stamped inside the boot of both skates.

Bauer Statement---(Hydrophobic clarino) liner gives you proven durability and comfort in a bone-dry moisture wicking package)

And no this skate does not hold water and I don't think any high end composte skate does.

i dont know about any sweat problems since i put drainage holes on mine straight after my first skate. so mine dont absorb a lot of sweat

I had to drill holes for my grafs but I didn't need em for my 8090s they dry out pretty fast, and don't retain water.

just did'nt know you could do that. never had a problem.

My Vector Pros already had two holes drilled in the out-sole.

There's six holes drilled in the outsole of the retail Pro Tacks, but only one in the 852 Tacks...
