Whippy flex

If I get a 85 or 87 flex shaft or OPS stick am I gonna put my hand throught the shaft when I take a slapshot?

I've used 100s and 110 flexes (or the equivalents) before and broken em like that.

With a whippy stick are you benefiting not only from the added whip on wrist shots but also from a bigger resistance to breakage n slap shots?

yep you do get more flex on a slapper but what i experienced with my vapor xx was that it got flexed 2 much and had alot of strain put on it and became more flexier n flexier and eventually broke right in the middle of the shaft where my hand would hold it and where it would flex

well i used them all 85-100-110 and like for the extra whip it also depends on what curve you use too cuz ill have a better slap shot with an open face like a drury then a more a small curve like a modano forsberg, but the extra whip will defenitly help you on ur acuracy for your snap shot its way better and stronger. but the stick softens out alot thow after a while and then ur shot gets mush and shit no good that why if you would have been able to get like 100 or a soft 100 that would have been ur best bet, but enjoy the 85
