Franklin Shafts

Specifically the THT Pro 850 Titanium TRC Lite shaft. Wow, what a mouthful. They are priced quite nicely and sound like they might be pretty durable. Anyone used one or any other Franklin shaft for that matter? I tried the search feature, but didn't find anything.

never tried it, but in general, i have always found franklin's stuff very good value.

excellent durability...they feel like a UL...not too light but still...and durable

good durability but not very light. A lot of stores have them on closeout so you should be able to get a good deal on one. As long as you don't mind a little weight, its not a bad shaft.

Anybody know what a ballpark figure would be on the weight? I weighed the blade that I want to put in it today and it was about 170 grams. I may want the shaft to be slightly heavier than the norm to balance the stick. I'm more into balance than overall weight. Also, this shaft takes standard blades right?

Not sure about the weight, but it felt a little heavier than an Easton Ultra-Lite. And, Yes it does take standard blades.

The 4.0 flex is listed as being equivalent to an Easton 80 flex on the flex chart. Is this accurate?

Did you end up using the THT Pro 850 Titanium? How did you like it?

I am thinking about getting one.
