Best Internet site to get Inno

Recommended Posts

Thats a good point about Fedor....I know that Fedor uses 1100s too, along with every other piece of equipment that his brother does too.

http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/CF...dor+fedorov&p=7

check that out, the very 1st image shows fedor using an inno, and from the second image it looks like he is using a shaft and not a fused. So it is very likely that those shafts came from fedor not sergei, the hockey shop wanted to add more appeal by saying it was sergei's but the clues due lead us to think that it is in fact from fedor as the loaction of shop is extremely close to vancouver.

One more thing, fedor shoots left so if it was a painted novius then that "L" can very well stand for "left".

I recommend u scracth more off so we can see whats underneath but i think this could be a customized novius designed specially for fedor and painted to look like 1100.

This makes a lil more sence, the inno shafts are GI and the hockey shop proably got them for close to nothing so selling them and claiming they were 1100 wouldnt be a rip off cuz its not retail.

Bottom line: the shaft is GI for Fedor Ferderov as for novius or 1100 that is still a mysetery.

The switching it to lefty won't work. I don't know any lefties my size or any that can really shoot. Someone said you should be able to feel the boron spine on the outside of the shaft like a lump. I don't feel anything like that. I haven't looked inside the shaft, though. I don't know if you can see it like that or what. I have another one coming in tommorow, so I'll check it just to check.

There's no way to feel for the spine. Only way to tell is by flexing it one way, then flexing it the other, obviously with a blade in it. If one side feels stiffer than the other, it is a Novius. If they feel the same, it's not a Novius. The boron spine just makes the backhand side stiffer than the forehand so the forehand side stretches more giving a harder kick.

Is there supposed to be a really noticable flex difference between forhand and backhand? If so, it doesn't feel any more/less flexy. Maybe my mind is messing with me, though. I don't know. :(

That idea will work however i have an easton shaft and everytime i flex it normally (i shoot left) and i switch and flex it with my right i feel its whipper when i flex my shaf as a righty because my right arm is so much stronger then my left arm.

ps. ambro i love that quote hahaha

One more thing, 76 how much did the shaft cost u? Canadian?

Iam looking for a good inno shaft and if its a novius it will be left so it will benifit me and if its just a customized 1100 i dont mind the double concace shape.

So ill praoblly get it there.

The son of a bitch looks exactly like his older brother, right down to the Great Whites.

Hahahah i kno, what a wannabe his number is even 81 as opposed to sergie's 91. And he uses almost the same gear as sergei. Sergei has itech helmet, he has itech helmet, sergei uses inno he uses inno well u get the point.

I ll take a wild guess at it, u got the 260 if iam correct and if it is a LH novius and u shoot R then it might be stiffer and u wont get the kick that makes inno so popular so it might feel like 10 more flex of an easton scale. I wouldnt wrry too much, if u have a good shot dont let this consume u but based on ur pics it looks so much like a novius, maybe u should scratch the area where it says novius to see if it is a novius paint job.

I'm tempted, but I haven't.. yet. :P I also have a 4 1/2" plug in the end of it, so it should be a little more flexy. It doesn't feel stiff really at all, though. I can bend the hell out of it on a wrist shot without too much effort. My previous shaft was a TPS Rubber stiff flex and that thing felt like an iron rod compared to this.

What if it would happen to be a LH? How bad is that to use as a RH?

I used mine as a RH (I'm a lefty) because it was labeled as a lefty, but it was really a RH shaft. I didn't feel too much of a difference other than it felt a little whippier the correct way. The way I found out is take out the blade and see what side the label with numbers and stuff is on. The side that the label is on, that is the side the boron spine is on, and that should be the backhand side. If it is an 1100 anyways, those are the same on both sides, so its not a big deal.

I can't remember where the numbers were. I have another one coming in tommorow, so I'll give it a look and report back. So the 1100s have numbers on both sides? Same end?

No the 1100 doesn't have numbers on both sides. I'm just saying that the 1100 will perform the same either way. You need to take out the blade to see where the numbers are.

Someone else posted their numbers from inside the shaft. I don't remember mine, but I'm assuming they're the same.

Does that make any sense to anyone?

I'm the one who posted those numbers from my shaft I just recieved. I've used it 3 games now with my novius OPS in the same 260 flex and I guarentee you that the feel is not nearly the same. It's much snappier in the shot dept. and much more flexy than the novius. I like it so much I'm ordering a backup and putting the novius in the closet. I also did that flex test where someone said it's geared for LH shot if it's flexier on the forehand than on the backhand and it seemed flexier on the forehand. = good for me.

I love this thing with the Kovy blade! But no, I cannot tell you if it's a 1100 or not because I;ve never seen one!

Does anyone know of an online shop that has a 300 flex Novius with soft grip (rh)? Epuck.com had them a few months ago...but they seem to have disappeared.
