Hand Skin Problems

.Also febreeze has a product spray now that has anti-bacterial stuff in it and gives them a decent smell...I started using this on my gloves and it seems to help out.

The problem I have found with sprays is that it seems almost impossible to get the stuff down into the fingers. I'm not sure where the bacteria/mold/bad stuff is most likely to grow, but it feels like a waste of time to me if I can't get the whole inside of the glove.

I tried the lanolin/shaving cream route once, had a heck of a time finding a cream in Canada but finally found a ladies' shaving cream with lanolin, and all I can say is that it was one big ugly mess.

Put whatever you use into a bottle with a "stream" and "spray" nozzle. The stream should get it well down into the fingertips and the spray works well to cover as much area as possible on your other gear.

I always had eczema (SP?)on both shins and my elbows. i went to a dermatologist (SP again...) and he confirmed it to be eczema. He gave me some creams and lotions etc... and said to stop playing for a bit because it got so bad.

well i said eff that and bought some new shin pads and elbow pads plus knee high Under Armour socks and under armour long pants. As well as an under armour long sleeve shirt.

my eczema has cleared up ALOT. and isnt coming back anymore.

If you buy new gloves and the skin condition hasn't cleared up fully, could it be transfered to the new gloves and continue the infection???

Would thin platic gloves (like Dr's wear) be of any use in the new gloves until the skin is totally clear...totally a shot in the dark...just throwing it out there.
