Skate siz differences

Jino, yes, I'd say that the fit guard is accurate - at least, for Tacks. I'm a size 11.5 and wear a size 9d tack (so, your being an 11 and wearing an 8.5 makes sense to me). NOW, that being said, I have heard others say that the Externo and Vector fit a bit differently than the Tack series (although, a dude at the pro shop I frequent whom I trust says different - so, needless to say, I have heard conflicting info on this).

I can't comment as I have never worn a Vector or Externo (the early predecessor of the Vector). So, best see if you can find a pair at your LHS and try it out for size.

Someone like JR, CCM Jimmy, or Chadd would probably know if the two fit the same or not for sure.

i need a favor from any of u who works in LHS...can u help me to measure the insole of CCM Protacks '05 for size 9E and 9.5E in centimeters, so i know roughly the diff...thx alot guys.. really appreciate ur help.....and sorry for being so fussy...

How about just trying on someone's CCM skates or try on some CCM roller skates.

How about just trying on someone's CCM skates or try on some CCM roller skates.

over here in my place, the LHS doesnt carry much of skates..the have the Pro Tacks but in size 6 (the only top end skates) others are vector 3.0 ..so theres nothing i can try here...i'm gettin it online so i dun wanna do a mistake when ordering...

The Vector 3.0 should fit about the same as the top end Vector Pro...it's just the stiffness and materials that are different so it won't feel exactly the same. If you can try on some Vector 3.0 sizes you should be able to get a pretty good idea of the size you'd need in a Vector Pro. Of course it's better to try on the Vector Pro if that's what you're looking for, but the fit should be very similar if not exactly the same.

its not that...its juz that i have the biggest feet in the team.. :lol: :lol: And CCM sizes their skates 1 size down from US size (from Epuck.com). Is that true ??
