Petey21 1 Report post Posted January 9, 2006 I watched the Flames at Canucks game on TV and they showed some glimpses of an ongoing junior game in the BCJHL, and I noticed some weird lines I've never seen on a hockey rink before, anyone knows what they are? Here's a picture I made, the weird lines I'm wondering about are those going from the faceoff circles towards the boards, and also the additional "outer goalie crease". What are those for? J-Shera 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2006 Um, we call them ringette lines, maybe all the lines are for ringette.

Dougie8 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2006 The ringette line in my arena, is just all the way across the ice, at the top of the circles, none at the bottom. I think they spraypaint some lines on the ice when they play in our rink
