Baking Instructions

Recommended Posts

I'm just wondering if anyone has the specific instructions for baking a pair of 8090's in a home oven. If you have them, I'd appreciate the help, thank you.

Well I might not end up doing it, but I was under the impression that if you have a convection oven it's fine to do it as long as it's only about 175 degrees...I thought that was about the right temperature, but I'm certainly not going to try it w/o confirmation.

Here's some instruction from epuck:

I personally wouldn't risk it though. Rather have a professional do it for me.

I just lost alot of respect for Epuck!! Shame on them!! So for every skate they sell they want to void the warranty....NICE! Here the Tag of my VAPOR 30's::

More likely that Bauer just wants to sell their dealers the Bauer Oven. I put mine in the oven in my kitchen--it's the Frigidare Kind--and the skates came out just fine.

On a side note, I wonder if Bauer should spend a little more time building a skate that holds up to wear and a little less time on which oven is alright...that VAPOR 30 is a POS.

Ive heard that its ok, you just have to wrap them in a wet (well not dripping) towel.

I KNOW,ALOT OF PEOPLE DO IT i JUST THINK IF YOU PAY THAT KIND OF MONEY FOR SKATES WHO WOULD WANT TO TAKE THE RISK. AND I HEARD THEY DON'T BAKE EVENLY.
