TPS question

Recommended Posts

I had a Selanne pro stock response that i loved the curve on. Is the number on the shaft his pattern number and if so would i be able to go through my LHS and have them order blades in that pattern or no? thanks in advance

It is. They usually start with a letter which I beleive is the flex and then a 4 digit number I think. My Langenbrunner pro is R-1725.

I´m pretty sure that unless a shop carries those sticks or can get them from a distributor they will have to custom order them directly from TPS and you might end up with having to order a certain minimun (6 or 12)

They should be able to do so if they still have the pattern on file. Be sure to include any suffix after the pattern number. For example Pattern 0148A is different from pattern 0148D.

would the guy be able to order a different flex if he wanted?

if the pattern is R-xxxx (regular flex)

theoretically he could order a S-xxxx (stiff flex)

Yes but keep in mind that the pattern may no longer be on file. If that's the case you will have to pay for a new mold.
