Question about these labeda wheels...

Recommended Posts

the core looks similar to the new core on the genesis. And judging by the price it looks as if they are a price point for mini hib wheels. a low end wheel for people with mini bearings would be my guess.

i dont think it is a high end wheel at all.. could be wrong.. the new hub is all about weight.. dont think it has much to do with the genesis or the fuzion

I was at a tournament Saturday and these are from what I saw are not high end wheels. They come on the Code Red which you probably already know and that what I saw them on. They from what I could tell were a cheaper wheel that was not of the quality of a Genesis, or Dynasty.

The Team USA is a single pour mini bearing wheel. It uses the same outer wheel formula as the Dynasty and Millennium but does not have the extra inner performance componets as a Genesis, Fuzion or Dynasty. A good wheel comparable to a Gripper Lite meant to be cost effective alternative to the Genesis wheel.

Skated the wheels, they are like teamlabeda said a gripper like wheel, they are pretty good wheels, have great grip, good rebound, are are really light to boot, for the price you cant go wrong if you need a solid inexpensive wheel...I havent skated them enough to know the durabilty of them, but if they are anything like the old grippers the will last a good while.

I used to skate almost exclusively on gripper lites...loved those things. Switched to higher end wheels, but you will never hear me say a bad word about gripper lites.

If you liked the gripper lites definatly pick you up a set of these, they are basically the same things, and the grip and weight is very comparable to the higher end wheels for sure, the durability is what I dont know yet, havent had them long enough...But some "higher" end wheels are terriable on durability as well...Id recommened the wheels

I have these wheels too. I was actually just looking to find a quick replacement until i could find some new Genesis wheels with the hexagonal hub, but like all of you have said they're definitly worth it for the price. Only difference between these and Genesis wheels is a little weight but that doesn't matter much.

yeah the usa wheels is a solid replacement wheel for cheap.. not bad.. i used gripper lites back in the day and they did the trick for a certain amount of games.. not much durability but for a replacement for a short amount of time they should be fine.. RV*
