blade and shaft ?

ok heres the question, the blade on my stick ( ops ) broke so i went and got a tapered blade today and cut the shaft eye balled it and it wouldnt fit, i cut a little more and were it should fit but there is thicker graphite were i cut and it closed the diameter of the opening. is there a way to remove this or am i just assed out here?

p.s. it was a Harro ops i dunno if that helps or hurts

is the blade wood or graphite??? because if it's wood you could just shave some of it off, to make a bit of extra room

Hey Hey Hey, hold on. I'm sure alot of us have seen this. I've repaired two synergies this way. You have to dremel out the graphite. First drill it out and then dremel it until it fits snugly around the blade.
