Mission Pure L7

Hey, I have not heard much about these skates so I'm asking some opinions.

#1 How is the fit of these compared to a Nike V-12?

#2 I'm not a weight freak or anything but what is the weight?

#3 Has anyone used these? How have they held up?

I have the L-4 now. The foot is a slim fit and the toe is not as wide as the Nike V-12 . The heel is a fairly tight fit but not uncomfortably so. The L-4 is a very light skate with a composite outsole and what they call Dry Core quarters similar to what is on the Vapors but this stuff is much stiffer and seems like it will hold up for the long haul. I don't believe it'll break down as easily as the quarters in the Vapors will. The skate itself is very light even for a middle of the line skate, comparible in weight to my Pro Tacks /04's. I've got to believe the L-7 is lighter because of the carbon outsole and carbon Dry Core mix in the quarters. I love the contour adjustable Pitch 3 blade and so far the holder is great. I've left it in the neutral setting for now but might try the +1 setting in the near future. This is a great skate for the money with some new innovative features. As always Mission has taken that extra step to upgrade it's product. It's amazing a company that has the guts to forge ahead with newer technologies doesn't carry more of the market share in skate sales.

Oh and by the way this skate has been extremely comfortable since the first time I pulled it on. Although the toe isn't as wide as a Nike V-12 it isn't as narrow as a Bauer skate but has the low profile toe cap prevelant in a lot of the newer model skates. Granted I purchased the E width but it still has a snug but comfortable fit. I've had no hot spots or pinch points anywhere yet and that's without heat moulding. I have replaced the boot inserts with Shock Doctor inserts though because we all know this is where a lot of the skate manufacturers cut corners. Otherwise no complaints.
