Miserable

Got my tapered Inno from the Hockey Shop

Recommended Posts

Finally got the damn thing after UPS lost it for 3 days. Here's what I can tell you:

It is a repaint and not the retail 1100

It's 48" with a giant 8" plug

No sticker in the bottom so I'll have to wait until I can pull out the plug tonight for a number

It's a slight double concave shaft with somewhat rounded corners

I flexed it both ways and the flex feels the same plus there is no visible sign the this stick is hand specific.

All in all looks pretty decent. Wish it was 51' instead of 48' but I'm not using it with a short hosel blade so it won't really make a difference. I can post pictures is anyone wants them.

that kinda sounds like a re-painted inno 3000 shaft maybe...i have a 3000...slight concave on both sides, rounded edges...mine has that smooth glass finish though...

Sr. tapered shafts are normally 51", so my Synth. and R2 are. Only my 8-5 Flyweight is 48", but I'm fairly certain it was meant as an intermediate shaft. T-Flex is 48" because they were meant for the long hosel tapered blades, not the shorter ones.

You asked for a 1100 and they gave you a 3000 painted like a 1100?

No it was just listed as an Innovative Fedorov tapered shaft. People here are guessing it's an 1100 or 3000.

What flex did you get and does anyone have a link to information about the 3000 shaft, I cant find it anywhere. Also how do you know it a repaint?

what is SMU?

SMU stands for "special make-up". Made specifically for that particular retailer.
