changing steel

hi,

my steel in my ls1 broke (how random...) and i´ll get new steel for free in exchange from bauer germany. hopefully, they´ll send me ls2 steel, afaik they´ll fit on ls1 holders and are more durable.

my problem is, that i cant get the steel out!

some guy here gave me an advice, but it didnt work out, so there MUST be some other way.

im in a hurry, so i please you to excuse some mistakes..

It easy if you have the allen wrench that came with them? If you have a 5/16 allen, just insert it in the heel hole and remove the nut. The steel then pulls down and forward to come out. If the nut won't budge because it's rusted, you're screwed and will have to have the holders removed so surgery can be done on the nut.
