Aussie Joe 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2006 Hey guys, just looking to get some info on the Vapor XXX gloves. Im about to pick up a pair, generally skate on sport court using an Inno grip shaft. Im on ther rink 2-4 times a week. What sort of lifespan would I be looking at with the palms in particular? Is the Nylon covering as weak as has been perceived? Also let me know some of your experiences with these gloves in Roller, No matter how good or bad?
DaveTheWave 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2006 Nylon gloves are always light but the Bauer XXX palms tend to wear out no matter what surface you play. I believe they come with an extra set of palms, but they are not the most durable model. Mission might be the better way to go, and you'd save $30.
Sassmasta 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2006 I had a pair of vapor xxx and I hated them...they felt great, but the palm seemed cheap and not so durable. Had I purchased the Vapor XX I wuold have been a happy camper, fortunately for me I sold the XXX and bought 2 pairs of eagle gloves...(Both X 70's) and I love them. Bottom line..my two cents...save yourself the ten bucks buy the vapor XX's and be done for at least a year...they seem so much more durable.
