If the axle spacer goes all the way through the bearings..most pro shops who deal in inline equipment have a pusher tool that works well.

If the spacers fit between the bearings, but do not actually go through the inner race..just use the short end of a large bore Allen key..like .25" or a bit smaller to pry the bearings loose. They will pop out easily if they are not rusted in place...and with a bit of elbow grease...they can be worked out quickly this way...even if stuck.

if you go to a store that sells k2 skates, ask them for the tool cause it comes with a bearing pusher on the tool and you can take them out with that.

A skateboard truck mounted on a deck makes a great bearing popper since the axles are the exact same size. Still, a phillips screwdriver that's not much smaller then the center of the bearing should do the trick. There's no need to buy a special bearing removal tool.

If you pop of the cover thing on the bearing, then you are basically screwed. Cause then all the bearing balls fall out and they are hard to put back in.

I tried pounding with a screw driver but that just bent the bearing and got me absolutly nowhere.

I had a bit of difficulties with my mini-bearings (kind've using old stock till I figure out whats up with my wheel situation) so I stuck the wheel in a vice. Hot out a hammer and screw driver. Few taps and it was right out.
