Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted February 27, 2006 If I understand what you are asking, Priority Mail generally delivers on Saturday, so it's possible that Easton doesn't accept Saturday deliveries. If that's the case, it will be delivered on Monday. analog999 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2006 Was it priority or express? If it starts with a letter it's express, and saturday delivery is by default. If it is priority, same thing. Either way, if they left a note, the person has to literally go to the post office to get it. If they don't get it after a few days, then the PO will send it back to you! So get in contact with the receiver and tell them to go pick it up.
Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted February 27, 2006 Was it priority or express? If it starts with a letter it's express, and saturday delivery is by default. Actually, I dropped off an Express package on a Saturday recently and the clerk spent about 90 seconds looking something up. Finally he said, "No, they don't deliver on Sunday to that zip code.""Sunday? What do you mean Sunday?""Well, Express Mail is an overnite service, which means it will be delivered on Sundays on some occasions."I haven't tested this to determine if he new on the job. :D
analog999 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2006 They do deliver Express mail 365 days a year to locations (including Christmas, etc). Some places Express mail takes two days to get to the location, so don't always think it will arrive overnight...

analog999 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2006 Sorry. I missed where you said it was to Easton. Business get deliveries on Mondays but the post office will say that it has already been delivered on Saturday. Now, if Easton actually got a notice, just like anyone else, then they'd have to go too.
