I just downloaded some new fonts and they are in the Windows Fonts Folder,but they arent showing up when I try to type something in Photoshop or Word. Any idea whats wrong?

Have you tried a reboot? Maybe they aren't in memory.

I also think Illustrator requires them to be imported into the program somehow, so Photoshop may behave the same way.

I already rebooted my comp twice.As far as I know Photoshop uses the fonts that are stored on your computer.

Ok,I got the fonts working in Photoshop ,but not in Paint or Word,etc.Any other ideas?

I use a mac, and I have to install the font.

For PC, try to double click on the font folder, and see if there is an install.exe in it.

If there is, run it, and they should work in all your programs after that
