Rbk 8k hockey skates

I dont know if this has been discussed before sorry if it has but, in the case that i wanted to switch holders on the 8k's (size 11.5 d) would a size 296 tuuk lightspeed holder fit on the boot without any drilling?

The swap WILL have to be drilled, new holes.

I dont have the skates yet i was just wondering in advance because i was thinking about getting a pair and ive skated in lightspeeds for the last 2 years and i like them a lot. Thanks for the reply.

usually when you swap manufactures you have to drill holes...its a pain but its worth it in the end :)

I suggest you skate on the new skates quite a few times before you decide to change holders. Anytime you go to new skates they will feel different than the old, even if you bought the exact same skate as you have now with the Lightspeed holder. I see impatient people all the time who don't give the new skates a chance, then spend $100 or more to put different holders/steel on them, and still have same problems. Bottom line, new skates will not feel like the old and you will need some time to adapt. Sometimes it's one skate, sometimes 6 or 7. The rocker/radius on any skate can be adjusted, so going from Bauer to CCM, a profile job may make the transition easier.
