Help with stick height

I bought a used xn10 while back.. love everything about it except I can't get the height just right, I am 5'8, I can't remember what size it was but I put a plug in it and now it's wearing out at the bottom of the blade at the far back.. does this mean it's now too tall for me? Should I take the whole plug out or cut it in half? Any help would be appreciated.. :)

The wear would indicate that it's either too long or the lie is too high for that length. If the length is comfortable for you, look for something with a lower lie next time. If the length isn't comfortable trim to fit your preference.
