As far as breakouts go, I had the opportunity to see the blackhawks play the wings tonight (go wings) and in person watching a pro team breakout is amazing. Both the wingers came back relatively deep in the zone, while the center would hang out at the blueline in case a longer pass or other breakout pass was needed. There were a couple of short passes, and BAM! the wings would be on their way. I think the key to my survival and enjoyment is simply getting at least one forward in the zone, like you said.
