Scottish Maple Leaf 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2006 I seem to remember that you used to buy skates other than Bauer with TUUK blades, such as Daoust. Didn't CCM also used to do Tuuk's on the Tacks/Super Tacks & Graf also. Did Bauer Nike buy Tuuk? Or is my memory wrong?
sdcopp 1 Report post Posted March 10, 2006 TUUK is a Bauer thing. Pre-Nike, Bauer owned Daoust and Mega, so they also had TUUKs

JR Boucicaut 3804 Report post Posted March 11, 2006 Tuuk was a separate entity, then fell under Canstar, which included Bauer, Cooper, Micron, Daoust and Lange. That is why the older Tuuks had the Canstar maple leaf logo on it. When Nike bought Canstar and dissolved the rest of the brands, Tuuk fell under Bauer/Nike, and they cut off the rest of the companies they supplied.
