Stick Length

Hey there.

Had a quick question. I just bought a new OPS and it is an inch longer than the stick I use now. My question is this, will I notice the inch if I do NOT cut the stick. I know cutting a OPS can affect the flex, but would it affect it, if it is only an inch?

So, bottom line is, should I cut the inch off?

Assuming the lie is correct on the other stick, cut the new one to match. You aren't going to notice the difference in flex.

Whether or not you should cut it has to do with the lie of the blade. If the lie is the same as on your previous stick, you should probably cut the OPS to the same length (assuming you felt comfortable with your previous stcik). If the lie on the OPS is lower than your previous stick, you'll probably be ok leaving it uncut. Either way, cutting an inch off of an OPS will not affect flex in a noticable way.

Definilty won't affect the flex. take off the inch or the extra inch length will bug you for a long time. I tried it.
