Very nice pads! Their new 2006 line is top notch and the 2nd lightest pad on the market behind the Sher-wood C10s

I guess that if weight is your only concern then the c10s would be the way to go but you might have to be prepared to mod the gear to get it to work the way that you expect. Right dink? ;)

Sherwood can't compare to the VKs in terms of craftsmanship tho.

I own the VK5 '05 model and now I use the VK5 '06 model. One of the Best pads i have ever used. The pads i've used before are the Bauer Reactors 1000, Vaughn Visions, Vaughn Velocity 1, Vaughn Velocity 2, VK5 '05, and now VK5 '06. You might say i should've stayed with vaughn pads, i always think about that, but say Vaughn and Vortek are the best pads i have used.
