Hockey Shaft Saver Super Wrap

Recommended Posts

I accquired a Stealth Grip and undisclosed sum of money via trade for two of my 1st round picks (Inno True1's). Anyways I want to lock up my investment, I've read from reviews that the durability might be a concern when it comes to these type of sticks. Anyways I came accross this product in my LHS ... Hockey Shaft Saver Super Wrap

I guess there is something to it. Anyways I was wondering if anyone can provide some feedback on this product. Will it effect the performance of the stick ? And most importantly does it work ? Any feedback is appreciated. Cheers.

I can tell you everything about this stuff. Good and bad. First the bad; It's a pain in the rear to apply. I cannot express enough how important it is to take your time, have a lot of space on a flat dust free table and to have a putty blade or something like that to get the air bubbles out. When I first applied it, it was a nightmare. Then after speaking to the guys at Renfrow they walked me through it and it worked. wrote a big thing on this stuff in the comments section of EPUCK.

Now for the GREAT!! I say that because it is just that GREAT!! I have used this stuff and I truly believe that it is the maine reason I have not broken a shaft yet. It starts to look nasty after a while but who cares. it's there for protection not glam. I highly recomend it and suggest that you buy two rolls so you can get the hang of it. Let me know if you have any questions with application.
