You might want to include how much you want to spend. Also what you have used in the past and if you liked it or not would help.

I liked the fubber for the price.

First of all none of those are cheap, they are high performance shafts, if you wanted cheap then get Easton Octane or Ultra Carbon (Which really sucks in every possible way). If you mean cheap by it paying for it self over time I would defitnitly consider the Ultra Lite, once again they are not cheap but they are absoulte tanks and will whitstand a lot of punishement. The shaft will pay for it over time due to its great durability. Performance wise I have heard good things about it but never actually tried one. They are made of Kevlar/Graphite which is used in all of Eastons high ends shafts. Basicly you cnat go wrong with a solid shaft like the UL.

Depends what you call cheap? For me the rubber is an amazing shaft for like 100 bucks or whatever. But cheap for you and cheap for me are probably 2 different things.

I've got an old vapor 10 shaft up for sale if you wanted it. Just search around it's either in the Trade or Sell forum. PM me It'll be cheaper than a new one, condition is described in the topic and if you didn't like it you could always opt to get a red-lite afterwards.

I normally use stiff sticks, but this thing is a brick. I liked it when I first had it, but I've recently altered my flex and find its performance to be not great. I don't ever see it breaking though, it's just a solid stick.

Jordon, If you're thinking of getting a cheap shaft, but are looking to spend in the $80-90 (U.S.) range shop around and try to find a close out on last year's Louisville Tri-cores. Great standard shafts. Also, for a bit more have you considered a Vector 100 or a Bauer X OPS? They retail for around $100. If you have a supply of standard blades already you could flip the shaft when the blade breaks. When you run out of standard blades you could switch to tapered. A good investment in the long run. Do you break many shafts?

in the $80-90(USD) range, i would also check out the M2. I got one paired up with an X1, and its amazing. Feels like it will last a while too.

Also Grip-Lites seem to be cheaper than most shafts, and are tanks too..

M-2, good choice. Is the M-2 really lighter than a Z-Bubble? I remember reading in the Mission catalog that the M-2 is the "lighter than the competition's top shaft" and was wondering if that was true or maybe just not noticably a lie. The Tri-cores also have that sweet wood cover which gives a good grip and awesome feel.

If he snapped the UL, he'll destroy a Z-bubble.

The reason why I suggested the UL was because he wanted a mid-range shaft. I would recommend the M2 for a little bit more money.

According to Mission's numbers, it is lighter.

I should bring my scale to work and measure up some sticks.
