Help getting New Shaft

Recommended Posts

If he snapped the UL, he'll destroy a Z-bubble.

The reason why I suggested the UL was because he wanted a mid-range shaft. I would recommend the M2 for a little bit more money.

According to Mission's numbers, it is lighter.

I should bring my scale to work and measure up some sticks.

so by that your saying that ultra lites are better than z-bubbles, never used ethier of them but i thought z-bubbles where amazin sticks

Amazing in the fact that your blade will go further than the puck would...

I've really never met anyone who didn't break one. Always in the same spot too.

Z-Bubbles are amazing. So is toilet paper. Neither are durable, but both are very nice to have in the closet. JR, you mean they break right as they start to pinch down? 3 outta 4 ain't bad in a season. In Jordon's case if he's going to spend extra for a Z-Bubble he is going to be in a financial bracket where he could consider more durable twigs.

I've had 4 I think (rink around here got the pricing mixed up, marked them as $19.99 instead of $119.99. Dumbass manager even told the clerks to sell it for that price) and I 've never broken one.

20 clams for a Z-Bubble? In the words of the Hindus: God is luck. Wow. Does the manager still work there after losing serious money on inventory that could easily have been remarked? You should have bought the lot of them and sold them on e-bay and put yourself and my kids through college.

This was a few years ago when Z-Bubs first came out, so it was an even better deal, plus you got a blade with it. I think half my team ended up buying at least one, so there weren't a lot left. The rink was in Portland, and as my team was driving home, the manager called my mom (who was the president of our organization at the time) and told her that they were going to sue us for making them lose over a thousand dollars. Long story short, they did nothing.

They were going to sue you for buying their product? So I guess the manager doesn't work there anymore. Good story. Ahh, a good laugh. Well, Jordon, we digress. Good luck shaft hunting.

it was weird cause a buddy of mine had his z-bubble for like 5 years and then one day we were in the changeroom and he was showing this other guy the flex on the stick and it just gave. He got some good usage out of the stick though.
