In re-palming gloves for years I have discovered a few things:

1- some people have sweat like hydrochloric acid

2- There is not a lot you can do about it

3- I think one of the biggest factors is getting your equipment dry as soon as possible

4- Take a shower BEFORE you play- also helps loosen you up!

5- Twice a season rinse your stuff in a very very light bleach solution and rinse until clear-DRY THOROUGHLY

6- Your diet has some effect on the nature of your sweat- If you dont think so eat a heavy garlic meal for 2 days before your next game!

I agree. My current pair of gloves has lasted three times as long as my previous pair simply because I use a equipment tree.
