Miserable 6 Report post Posted March 29, 2006 Ya thats the book I have. So you didn't find the excersises useful? It wasn't that I didn't find them useful, it just seemed that they didn't spend as much time working that out as they did the diet and nutrition portions of the book. The book is really helpful and I recommend it but there are better workout programs out there.I've had great results with the programs in this book
hockeyfalcons456 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Everyone has a 6 pack under fat, but you have to eat a very proper diet and do alot of cardio, and abdominal exercises give you more deifined abs.A six pack is about 75% diet and 25% exercise.

GeniousHOCKEY'04 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Diet-wise, Drink alot of water, preferrably around a gallon-two gallons a day. Do not drink any gatorade, soda, or alcohol (Includes diet soda as well)I'd suggest taking a multi-vitamin each day, as well as a Free Form Amino Acids complex pill, and some form or Whey Protein powder, which has no sugars and little to no carbohydrates.Eat no sugars WHAT SO EVER, go towards snacking on foods rich in protein and vegetables. Instead of eating Peanut butter, head to a Whole Foods or a Wild Oats and pick up some Raw Almond Butter. Instead of eating white or wheat bread, eat sprouted Eziekial bread which has no added sugars and is 100% natural, and also tastes pretty good if you spread the almond butter on it. If you eat fruits, stay away from fruits with alot of sugars such as bannanas, honeydew, and cantalope. Steer more towards the berries such as raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc. Also, when eating fruit, make sure you're taking in a protein with the fruit, otherwise the fruit will be processed as a sugar.Eat at least 9 Oz. of red meat each week, if not more.Good snack foods= nuts, cheese, protein shake, vegies, almond butter on eziekial bread.Fat is okay to eat, you need to have fat in your body in order to burn it, dont go crazy though, avoid saturated fats and monosaturated fats. Natural fats found in beefs such as lamb is fine.Stay away from starches such as potatoes.Stay away from salad dressings w/ sugar (alot of salad dressings have hidden sugars)Workout-wise,Get at least 30 min.- 1hour of cardio, running, biking.(this will help burn off body fat, making your six pack more defined and visible.)Lift weights about 3-5 times a week, for me i lift about 2 hours each day, but that's just me.Leg lifts, Weighted Crunches, bicycle crunches, and swiss ball crunches are what work for me (inflateable ball exchange)
