At my lhs they had the Vapor XX gloves. I love the feel of them, especially the fingers, they strech alot. THe glove i have now is the Eagle X40 but i really liked my Nike Quest 2's alot more.........most people would choose the eagle over the nike any day, but my next glove is definetely going to be either the Vapor XV or the Vapor XX.

I sorta thought they werent there because of price. Then i saw the Oakley's and XX's there, and they're about the same price.

Ill try to dig up the link for the M1's for around $70(US).

The same site also had M2's for around 50.

Either of those would be a great glove for the price.

Cantor22, what size do you have now? What level of hockey do you play? How old are you and do you expect to grow? Long cuff? Short cuff? Tight fit? Loose fit? What are youre current gloves and why do you need or want new ones? Gloves are a bit like sticks in that you find the lie and pattern(s) you like and consider from there. All of the gloves you suggest are great, but specific questions get specific answers.

P.s. If I was offered any of those gloves for free I would take any of them. I'm guessing that you have to buy yours?

thats a good point, cuase at the top he says if you could have any for free, i don't have any of those gloves, but im pretty sure that they all aren't in the same price range, am i wrong? you should include how much you want to pay

I would have to choose the supreme 5000 the feel of the leather and how comfortable they are is unreal...Im my opinion the best gloves out there...Eagles are good but they just dont give the feel like these do and for the Bauer XX there nice and all but the feel is just not there the fingers feel weird and everything so im sticking with the Supreme series gloves :)

All of the gloves you suggest are great, but specific questions get specific answers.

i have a 15" right now. the size is fine but the gloves i ahve no ive had for a few years (TPS aionic 7 doubt u ever heard abotu them) the padding is wearing down and i cna feel all the slashes and pucks on my ahnds. if i get my hands a little high on a hit or somehtign like that i defanitlet feel it. I play jsut finshed bantma AAA this goign onto midget next year here in ottawa so abotu 6 times a week. i'm 15. cuff and tightness isnt really an issue for me. the gloves i listed are alll the chocies i ahve pretty much in seleection. the eagles they have are like 250CDN which is way to much. i tired on the synergy gloves and i relly liked them but what everyone ahs said they dont seem to good they were 150CDN which is decent i find. price isnt really an issue but i dotn wnat to sehll out $250 CDN for a pair of gloves. and im not really done growing

Thanks for the additional info. Well, I've read, as you've likely read, some negative press on the new Synergy gloves here at ModSquad. Frankly, I can't imagine what people don't like about them other than the fact they fit snug, (intended) are a bit mislabled, (Yes, a 14inch is really about a 13.5) and have the evil "E" word embroidered across the cuff.

I've had my pair of Synergy gloves (3 skates a week ((1.5-2hrs)), 1-2 hours of dry land shooting-stick handling a week) for 3 weeks and I can honestly say they are the best gloves I've ever had. I baked them in my oven and perfectly broken in the next day. Bake them a little hotter for faster break in time. My other favorite gloves were the Nike Quest 1 gloves, so I prefer a tight fit, a 13.5, and a loose cuff. The palm on the new Synergy shows little to no wear, flawless construction, and great protection through the fingers and cuff. The air bladders also improve the impact protection and are very comfortable inside the glove. They haven't stretched out much yet, and the palm material is very slick at first with the use of non-grip composites or wood sticks. Great gloves and at $125 Canadian I recommend them. I paid $115 U.S. and I don't regret it.

I've also used the CCM 852s and the Easton Airs. CCMs were great gloves. Durable, but with a looser fit than the new Easton, and the CCMs provided plenty of protection. For a bit extra money I would go with the Synergies over the Airs. The Synergies are a little lighter, more protective and comfortable, and the wrist wrap on the Airs is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Makes you feel cocky at first, but you end the night in tears. Also, the Airs didn't have the thumb padding the CCMs and Synergies do. The lack of padding wore a hole into the base of my thumb from the bar that Easton uses to design their thumb lock when the palms were saturated and the gloves slipped around a bit.

Wheres the love for Eagles?

eagles are too much. these are my choices so i dont know what to get.

The Oakley's are about the same price as the Eagle's. In that group though I would maybe say the Oakley's.

They synergys are not comfortable at all, they look disgusting, and a glove better performing and looking can be had for 40 bucks less.

Regarding Eagles you're probaly talking about the L29 for $250 remember that's one of Eagles all leather models and doesn't reflect their entire line. The X70 is their upper middle model goes for around $160-$170 probaly cheaper online and IMO is of better quality than most of the Easton and Bauer gloves on your list.
