Durometer question...

Recommended Posts

i believe that 74a is the hardness and the durometer is the size of the wheels 72mm.???? not sure what the a stands for just know its next to the hardness of the wheel.

the A is just a scale of measure. the hardness of wheels are measured by the Shore Durometer test. And in softer rubbers (wheels), the Shore A is used, and that's where the A in the durometer of wheels comes in, there are other types of Shore hardness scales, but to us, they're irrelevent :)

since we are asking funny questions, what is that shiney coat that comes on new wheels and why does it ware off so fast.mostly on single pour wheels after a few games the wheels dont hold the same grip.
