Without Thornton he wouldn't have cracked 50. Look at Glen Murray without Thornton.

I thought he played great in the 2004 playoffs, not 50 goal good but that over 82 games would be 35-40 range. Being one of the more gritty guys up there at the the top of the race isn't a bad thing either.

Just because I now made a post about him doesn't mean I didn't know of him OR liked him before now. I'm not jumping on any bandwagon. I posted this because he leads the NHL in goals and is yet still somewhat unknown.
