Bauer XV Grip

I have a Bauer XV shaft, with the Stik'um gríp coating, which is basically a thin plastic based sock wraped around the shaft.

I dislike Grip shafts, and would really like to remove the remaining grip, that has yet to peel of from the shaft.

Any suggestions?

The grip I have gotten of the shaft so far, has been from wear + occasional finger-nail chipping...

Give it a light rub with sand paper.
