i am going to be purchasing lightspeeds off a fellow msher and i want to know if i could put the holders on bymyself or should i take them to my lhs and also how do you take the old holders off?

If you have experience (or at least decent training) and all the tools, go ahead and do it yourself.

If they're the right size, they will fit. You just have to drill all new holes for the rivets.
