my XXX just came in

After waiting over a week my vapor xxx ops finally came in from hockey giant. I opened the box and checked it out and I noticed a discoloration in the grip when the sunlight shined on it. Is this normal? When I first saw it I thought it was bent or something, or even re-fused together. Here's a pic, I circled the area if you can see what I'm talking about:

Never seen anything like that before but I'd try using it because if it breaks, it's still under warrenty.

upon further examination it looks to coincidentally be around where the taper starts. if it were to break what would be my official receipt? the email one i got from hockeygiant.com?

That's just the end of the grip. I have that on mine too.

You should have got a paper stating the order in the box it came in.

could be something that rubbed against it.. perhaps another stick.. my xxx has similar discoloration on it from someone hacking at it in a game
