S500 Skate Fit Question

Those of you in Mission S-series, how does the sizing equate to Bauer's? I am currently skating in size 7 XXXs, and have an opportunity to pick up some s500 size 8 cheap enough to justify the risk. However, I don't want to dog my LHS by wasting their time if I can get a reasonable guesstimate.

I know the only way to ensure fit is to try them on.

I'm about 10.5-10.75D in Bauer (guessing on the 10.75 because I don't get custom skates) and 11D in S400s. Seems like a lot of people are not that close in the two skate companies' fits.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to pull the trigger on sizer 7.5 which is a half-size larger than my XXXs. Hopefully they'll fit!

Yeah let's hope. The Supplefit series seems great. I've had mine about two months now and I haven't gotten to skate in them yet but I can't wait. I hope that 7.5 will work for you.
