Skate Fitting Help

I am looking for skates that fit closest to the 1998 CCM 952 Tacks.

They are a 9.5 D/E

I've been told that in the past couple of years the tacks fit has been changed for the new pro tacks fit. Is this true? Is it true that the bauer supreme line fits similar?

I am looking for any skates that fit similar. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.

D/E, that is one monsterous heel. Are you sure it isnt D/A.

Anyways, Im sure you can find some 98 Tacks on eBay or online closeout.If you want them again.

Not sure about the fits of the current tacks to prior models.

I had the same thing on my old CCM's I think it's a d/e in the forefoot. Like between D and E.

I don't want to buy a left over paair of them , just skates that fit very close to them today.

The Tacks line of skates fit pretty similar over time i.m.o. Have you tried on some newer Tacks?

I tried on the new pro tacks and the rbk's but thet don't seem to fit the same.

Well, they are both new and Pro stiff. It has to feel a lot different from your 1998 Tack skates. Ones they are fully broken in, you will recognise the good old proven CCM Tacks last fit ;-)

Are these the 952 Kevlars?? My favorite skate ever just heavy as hell

Yes they are the 1998 952 kevlar tacks. I love the fit on them but they are done. I need skates that fit the same or similar, how about the bauer supreme's?

Nice. They have the 9.5 size too. Does the pro return mean that they will fit them same as the stock ones?

And also, how would the bauer supreme line fit in relation to these?
