re-coloring gloves?

i possibly am going to pick up some ducks gloves this week, but i dont like the eggplant color. can i soak the gloves in a dye of some sort and change the color? i wouldnt mind them being a dark purple/black but i dont like the eggplant color. any suggestion?

I dont think you would be able to dye them, it would probably ruin the gloves.

This is a random question, but are the ducks having a sale or something?

you can dye or use leather paint to change the color, but I really think it's more trouble to figure out than actually do it. I searched all over online with very little discovery. If you can find out anything on vinyl dye, I think that's what you could use.

My friend painted his Synergy gloves all black, and it looks really good. I'll find out tomorrow what he did, because they haven't faded in like 4 months.
