Pain in side of foot

Recommended Posts

I have a really wide foot and i wear a EE 8090. I have had my skates since september and have worn them alot. I just started skating again after taking some time off and im getting pain on the side of my foot in the arch area. Ive never had this before and the skates have never gave me problems. Am I tightening them to tight? Also its only my right foot that i have the soreness in.

could be they are a little to tight or you may need to stretch your foot alittle before skating.

I sometimes get cramps like that when I first get on the ice. Once I skate for a few minutes they go away.

Your probably just getting used to skating in them again. Give it some time.

Agreed, your foot is cramping due to the animal instinct to grip when it feels like you are unstable. Keep skating, it'll go away. As a new skater, it was unbearable for me for a while, and I kept skating and it gets better everytime.
