What's the volume? Is it shallow or deep? Meaning, if someone has more girth (Yea, I said it- girth) in their head than the average bear, will the hat still come down to my ears or will it look like it's sitting on the tip of my head?

It's pretty shallow. www.coyotesice.com a pro shop in a rink around here carries them if you'd like one.
