Langenbrunner15 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2006 Ok,On my heel, the very back to the left of the bone, there is another bone on my left foot. It really hurts whenever I walk. Sorry I don't know how to be more specific. Any help?
colonials22 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2006 I have the exact same thing, except on both feet. That same spot hurts when I skate. I'm gonna try to get my pro shop to punch out the heels on my skates, just to see if that helps.
whbd18 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2006 They're heel spurs, basically it is a build of Calcium caused by rubbing from skates. A lot of people have them including me. Mine hurt for alittle bit awhile back, but it went away. If they hurt really bad and it lasts for a year or two then I would say see a doctor and you might have to have surgery. Langenbrunner15 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2006 No, heel spurs hurt on the bottem of the boot, under the heel, I looked that up online. I used to have it and then it went a way and now it's back. colonials22, I may do that with the skate.

I talked to my skating coach today and she said that you heel is slipping in the boot and causing for my heel to rub against the back of my skate. She said to have the pro shop put some sort of rubber in the heel to fill the gap. It's either that, or she said to buy new skates, even though I just got my Vapor XXX's.
