Is it good, or it doesn't do anything, or it is bad?

So i'm about to ake my glove to the sani sport, do you think the palm will be more ''crusty'' after or the strech palm will remain the same?

This is my only concern before throwing it in the machine.

i have gotten my same equipment washed at esporta 4 times.

the first time the teclite on my grafs turned WHITE

i had to scrub for 3 hours to get it back to a shade of grey.

never will my skates go there again.

no problems other then the discoloration of my skates,

Hey, I just happen to have a totally UNBIASED opinion of Sani-sport. Just because my wife runs a Sani-sport business doesn't mean I can't spread da word, yo!

Everybody is right about one thing. Sani-sport does NOT clean the equipment. It sanitizes it and knocks down the smell. All the gear is put into a big stainless locker where it is bombarded with UV light, ozone and a fungicidal mist. Afterwards, it is sprayed with a antiseptic/anti-odor mixture and given back to you. Total time=20 to 30 minutes. It works best if you can then let it dry, but you can also wear it again right away.

The local Esporta takes longer but actually cleans the gear. A goalie I know was ecstatic about the way his pads came out (goalies are strange), but it took a couple of days to get them back.

Overall, I use the tub or washer to clean my gear of salt and grime, but the Sani-sport is faster and probably kills more bugs. The USA Junior Hockey team uses it (here in Ann Arbor), as do plenty of NHL and NFL teams. I think their biggest concern is the killing of staph germs more than just smell. You can probably find lots of articles of how some pros were out for a while with a staph infection. One kid on my adult league team was on an IV drip for a few weeks because of one.

You can't go wrong for $20. IM me if you're close to Ann Arbor or Canton, and I'll set you up!

Nice to know, I heard that helmet can rust. as for my shoulder i do wear an under-armour and let it dry every time. With the short and boxer do the pant really need to get clean? and i don't trust the thing for my skate.

so actually, it is only my glove that i would like to get the smell off.

Gloves are the absolute WORST to clean. So many little crevices inside the glove filled with bacteria eating the sweat from your hands.........I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. Some gloves take 3 tries to clean completely, though the people I know will keep running it if they have time. The other main culprits for stink and infection are elbow and shin pads. Shoulder pads and pants aren't too pad if you let them dry. But since you get the whole machine when you bring stuff in, you might as well bring everything. The locker is big enough to fit a full set of non-goalie gear.

yea that an idea, but my shin pad are the one that you can remove the black piece and was them at home( supreme 8000). i wash it along other other piece of equipement every weeks so i think they aren't that bad at all.

But you know, your right, why not bring everything(excepting my helmet and skate)

Why would your helmet go rusty they said they didn't use water.
