Blade Breaking

When you break a blade, does it break straight down? I finished off my SL today and it strangely broke in a straight looking crack near the heel. Do blades often break with an almost straight crack? Kinda a weird question, but im just wondering

When I break blades they tend to snap straight up and down in the center of the blade. although i have broken the odd blade how you described your SL breakage.

Most of the SL's ive seen have broken just as you said. Probably a common problem with them, as we all know how good the durability on them is! :P

LOL,yah I know. Im just afraid easton wont accept it

So far all my friends that have broken their SLs in the same way have had Easton replace them. But I don't want to give you false hope.
